The Global Malays, Singapore, launched in June 2007 connects local Malay/Muslim working professionals, students and families with those working, living and studying overseas. The portal aims to facilitate the exchange of information between the two groups and to encourage local Malay/Muslims to pursue education or employment overseas. It will also assist overseas Malay/Muslim Singaporeans to stay connected to Singapore. The portal will also discuss issues related to globalisation and how we can participate and benefit from it.

To capture the Malay/Muslims participation in the globalisation movement, the Global Malays, Singapore logo uses straight clean edged typography while blending in graphic icon of the globe. The design encapsulates the positive outlook for the Malays in their endeavour to achieve success in foreign lands while preserving their Singaporean values.
