Dread Exams?

Don't be, research has shown that 70% of such ill feelings toward exams come from inadequate preparation or wrong studying methods. The good news is - with a sound action plan - you can still make your way towards achieving better grades, even if you are left with three of four days to the mammoth 'E'.

Here's our tips to a better exams planning - have a good ACTION PLAN:

  1. Draft a skeletal view of what needs to be studied. Always list down the broad topics and then fill in the sub-topics. Fill up as much information you know under the sub-topic, re-organise as you go along. When this is done, layout what you've written on a refreshed piece of sheet. By now, you would get a clearer picture of what you plan to do.
  2.  Expand on the little notes you have written under sub-topics, check your source for accuaracy of facts and when this is done, you are in a better picture to start analysing or memorise them.
  3. Now is the time when majority of us would start cramming. Do not succumb to this. Instead, analyse and question what you are learning - as you ask yourself questions, you are inevitably learning. You can do this step with a good friend. Exchange pointers.
  4. Finally, add on new information that you have checked with a friend or through sources. Go through the notes a few times everyday.

Good Luck!
